Literally a 3 am post. I think I should make this a thing for my blog.
Missing someone who was a HUGE part of your life once upon a time but aren’t anymore because you know they are not good for you is weird, isn’t it?
But you know what? Have you ever considered that it’s probably not the person you’re missing but rather idea that you had of them? The imagine that you had created of them? Or maybe, it’s just the validation you got from them that you are worthy of being loved!
Trust me, though. When you know that someone isn’t good for you, there’s a lot of reasons for it. Even if, now when you miss them, you see and remember all their good sides, there was a time when you had to face the bad sides. The bad sides were so bad that you actually decided they weren’t good for you.
Whether good or bad, letting go of a part of your life who once meant something to you isn’t easy. Don’t let it get to you, don’t open your closed wounds again.
You are worthy of being loved. You are worthy of being loved by the best, by someone who treats you well. Let the good memories you have stay as memories. Don’t try to recreate them. Let’s create new memories.
I hope you find the love and happiness that you deserve.
Such a nice message to put out in the blogosphere. Yes, everyone is deserving of love, and sometimes when things don’t work out doesn’t mean that there’s something wrong with you. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much, Stuart!
Yes! I’ve seen people beat themselves up because things didn’t work out for them with someone not realising that it probably was more about the other person rather than them. I myself was a part of it. Now I’d love to see people actually think this way
